Tasks and responsibilities in primary profession Cutting, laying and levelling of suspended ground floor joists Fixing of decking (flooring) to suspended ground floor joists (if appropriate) Cutting, laying and levelling of (chamber) joists and trimmers Fixing door linings (casings) to openings in blockwork Laying floor decking Making up and installing studwork partitioning, including door linings Fixing window boards Fixing staircase flights Nogging - out for plasterboard Hanging temporary doors Erecting and completing roof using prefabricated trusses or cutting and pitching a roof made on site or otherwise Laying sarking boarding Fixing fascias and soffits, including, where required, any soffit or xxxxx ventilation Fixing bargeboards Lay insulation and decking to floating ground or first floors Assemble and fit staircases Hang all internal doors Fix all timber mouldings Hang timber external doors Hang doors to fitted wardrobes and fit out Fitting or fixing of loft traps Skills transfer to FCO Services staff The contractor will preferably also be experienced in: - Installation of security doors and grilles involving masonry alterations, making good and redecorating ensuring security standards are met. - Suspended ceiling installation - Wall tiling - UPVC Door and wall instalaltions - Carpet tile installation - CEAP Lightweight Type A wall and ceiling installation - Installation of Cambridge, Oxford and Northampton Doors, including associated ironmongery - Airlock and security counter installations - General plumbing skills - Security Filiming - General building works - Skills transfer to FCO Services staff
