DESIGNATED PARKING. Landlord will permit Tenant to designate up to 10 parking spaces, proximate to Tenant’s entry, as either reserved or visitor spaces by indicating such on the curb face. Curb face identification shall be removed by Tenant upon vacancy of the Project. Tenant acknowledges that Landlord has no obligation to enforce Tenant’s exclusive use of the designated spaces.

It is agreed by the parties that temporary members can be hired to fill a temporary vacancy created by a member absent due to vacation, illness, special leave or hired as a member who is to fill a temporary vacancy created as a result of another member being selected to fill a temporary vacancy. The duration of the shall not exceed the length of the initial vacancy, and such shall not be subject to the five week maximum. A temporary member can also be hired for the purpose of completing a specific task or project, in which event the duration of such assignment will not exceed five weeks. Temporary members will not be employed on successive specific tasks without the concurrence of the Association. The Parties agree to form a Schedule Review Committee to research, analyze, and review alternative shift schedules to the existing uniform patrol compressed work week schedule. The Committee shall consist of not more than three (3) members representing the Association and not more than three (3) members representing the Board. The Committee’s assessment shall include a consideration of the operational, financial, staffing and implementation implications of the alternatives considered, as well as the relative desirability of the shift schedule from the perspective of those members affected. The Committee shall be convened within sixty (60) days of ratification and shall complete their work by providing recommendations respecting any proposed alternative to the Board and to the Association for consideration within six (6) months of convening. If the parties fail to reach consensus at committee, the issues in dispute shall be referred to mediation by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ or in the alternative Bill or if neither are available, a mediator agreeable to the parties in an effort to achieve consensus. The parties will forthwith approach the mediator and agree on a date before the end of September Any change to the current schedule shall require the approval of both the Board and the Association to be adopted, and in the event of a determination by either Party not to approve an alternative schedule for implementation such determination shall not be arbitrable. In the event either party fails to adopt the consensus recommendations of the Committee the matter may be submitted to arbitration through the grievance procedure. The cost of the Mediator and Arbitrator shall be equally shared between the Board and the Association. Where an alternative shift schedule is approved for implementation on a permanent basis, it will be inserted into the Collective Agreement replacing the existing Schedule to the Uniform Collective Agreement.
