DEPARTMENT CHAIR POSITIONS. 19.1. An appointment to a department chairpersonship shall be for a three-year period, subject to an annual review by the Principal and a determination by him/her that the incumbent is meeting the goals and objectives established for the incumbent by the Principal in consultation with members of the department as described below. Members of a department, at their option, may participate in the process of nominating candidates for department chair positions. Should they desire to recommend a nominee, they shall first consult with the Principal concerning goals and objectives for the department and its chairperson and other relevant matters. Thereafter, but prior to May 1, the name of a nominee may be presented to the Principal for his/her consideration. If the Principal chooses to approve a different nominee, he/she shall so advise the department. The Principal shall have the ultimate decision as to who shall be appointed to department chair positions.

DEPARTMENT CHAIR POSITIONS. 12 District agrees to pay Department Chairperson $100.00 per semester plus $10.00 per class section 13 within that Department, per semester. Instructional Coordinators to be paid $2.00 per semester plus 14 $5.00 per class section offered on the master schedule for that department.   • Department Chairs The release time required to perform the administrative functions of the Department Chair positions shall be deducted from the total workload of the Department Chair with no less than fifty percent (50%) of this release taken from direct instructional duties.

  • Department Chairpersons The principal shall designate a high school librarian to serve as department chairperson, and such chairperson shall attend all school department chairperson meetings.

  • Department Responsibilities The use of sick leave may properly be denied if these procedures are not followed. Abuse of sick leave on the part of the employee is cause for disciplinary action. Departmental approval of sick leave is a certification of the legitimacy of the sick leave claim. The department head or designee may make reasonable inquiries about employee absences. The department may require medical verification for an absence of three (3) or more working days. The department may also require medical verification for absences of less than three (3) working days for probable cause if the employee had been notified in advance in writing that such verification was necessary. Inquiries may be made in the following ways:

  • Department Seniority Department seniority is defined as continuous length of service in calendar days within the employee’s department and where applicable, shall be used for internal department processes, such as vacation and schedule bids.

  • Departments Each teaching member shall belong to one home department. Departments of a university shall be established by the University administration with the advice of the Senate according to criteria of commonality of interest and academic purpose, without any numerical limits on size. Divisions or other major groupings of departments with some common interest may also be formed.

  • Other Controller Audit Any other Controller may audit SAP’s control environment and security practices relevant to Personal Data processed by SAP in line with Section 5.1 only if any of the cases set out in Section 5.1 applies to such other Controller. Such audit must be undertaken through and by Customer as set out in Section 5.1 unless the audit must be undertaken by the other Controller itself under Data Protection Law. If several Controllers whose Personal Data is processed by SAP on the basis of the Agreement require an audit, Customer shall use all reasonable means to combine the audits and to avoid multiple audits.

  • MINISTRY/SCHOOL BOARD INITIATIVES ETFO will be an active participant in the consultation process to develop a Ministry of Education PPM regarding Ministry/School Board Initiatives.
