Definitions Set Forth in Annex I Clause Samples
The "Definitions Set Forth in Annex I" clause establishes that specific terms used throughout the agreement are defined in a separate document or section, namely Annex I. In practice, this means that whenever a capitalized or otherwise designated term appears in the main contract, its precise meaning is determined by the definitions listed in Annex I, which may include technical terms, party names, or other key concepts. This approach ensures consistency and clarity in interpretation, reducing ambiguity and potential disputes over the meaning of important terms in the contract.
