Common use of Definition of Seniority Clause in Contracts

Definition of Seniority. Full-time employees will accumulate seniority on the basis of their continuous service in the bargaining unit from the last date of hire, except as otherwise provided herein. Seniority will operate on a bargaining unit wide basis.
