Definition of Landlord. With regard to obligations imposed upon Landlord pursuant to this Lease, the term “Landlord,” as used in this Lease, shall refer only to Landlord or Landlord’s then-current successor-in-interest. In the event of any transfer, assignment or conveyance of Landlord’s interest in this Lease or in Landlord’s fee title to or leasehold interest in the Property, as applicable, Landlord herein named (and in case of any subsequent transfers or conveyances, the subsequent Landlord) shall be automatically freed and relieved, from and after the date of such transfer, assignment or conveyance, from all liability for the performance of any covenants or obligations contained in this Lease thereafter to be performed by Landlord and, without further agreement, the transferee, assignee or conveyee of Landlord’s in this Lease or in Landlord’s fee title to or leasehold interest in the Property, as applicable, shall be deemed to have assumed and agreed to observe and perform any and all covenants and obligations of Landlord hereunder during the tenure of its interest in the Lease or the Property. Landlord or any subsequent Landlord may transfer its interest in the Premises or this Lease without Tenant’s consent.

(a) Anything contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, any claim based on or in respect of any liability of Landlord under this Lease shall be enforced only against the Landlord’s interest in the Leased Premises or condemnation, property insurance or sale proceeds related thereto, and shall not be enforced against the Landlord individually or personally, or against any member or other Affiliate of Landlord.

The term “Landlord” as used in this Lease means only the owner or owners at the time being of each Property Location so that in the event of any assignment, conveyance or sale, once or successively, of said Property Location, or any assignment of this Lease by Landlord, said Landlord making such sale, conveyance or assignment shall be and hereby is entirely freed and relieved of all covenants and obligations of Landlord hereunder, if any, accruing after such sale, conveyance or assignment, and Tenant agrees to look solely to such purchaser, grantee or assignee with respect thereto. It is intended that the covenants and obligations contained in this Lease on the part of Landlord shall, subject as aforesaid, be binding upon each Landlord, its heirs, personal representatives, successors and assigns only during its respective period of ownership.
Definition of Landlord. All indemnities, covenants and agreements of Tenant contained herein that inure to the benefit of Landlord shall be construed to also inure to the benefit of Landlord’s agents and employees.
