Defaulters definition

Defaulters. Segment”, shall mean a separate segment of companies, which have committed irregularities mentioned in clause 5.11.1;

Examples of Defaulters in a sentence

  • Where a person/s are listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters and / or the List of Restricted Suppliers, that person will automatically be disqualified from the bid process.

  • If a court of law convicts a person of an offence as contemplated in sections 12 or 13 of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act, No. 12 of 2004, the court may also rule that such person’s name be endorsed on the Register for Tender Defaulters.

  • The bidder has been listed on the National Treasury’s Register for Tender Defaulters in terms of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act, No. 12 of 2004, or has been listed on the National Treasury’s List of Restricted Suppliers and who is therefore prohibited from doing business with the public sector.

  • In line with the principles of transparency, accountability, impartiality, and ethics as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and further expressed in various pieces of legislation, it is required for the bidder to make this declaration in respect of the details required hereunder.Where a person/s are listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters and / or the List of Restricted Suppliers, that person will automatically be disqualified from the bid process.

  • No tender shall be awarded to a bidder whose name (or any of its members, directors, partners or trustees) appear on the Register of Tender Defaulters kept by National Treasury, or who have been placed on National Treasury’s List of Restricted Suppliers.

  • If a court of law convicts a person of an offence as contemplated in sections 12 or 13 of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act, No. 12 of 2004, the court may also rule that such person’s name be endorsed on the Register for Bid Defaulters.

  • Defaulted Loan shall have the meaning assigned to such term or an analogous term in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement
