Common use of Deduction for Absence Clause in Contracts

Deduction for Absence. Salary deductions for absence from duty for reasons not allowable under this Agreement shall be made on the basis of 1/193rd of the annual pay for each day of absence, unless the employee is contracted for more or less than 193 days. In these situations the basis shall be 1/number of contract days.
