Decline in Net Asset Value Sample Clauses

A Decline in Net Asset Value clause sets out the actions or consequences that occur if the value of a fund or investment portfolio drops below a specified threshold. Typically, this clause may require the fund manager to notify investors, restrict certain transactions, or even trigger redemption rights or additional collateral requirements. Its core function is to protect investors by providing mechanisms to address significant decreases in asset value, thereby managing risk and ensuring transparency in adverse market conditions.
