DECENCY Sample Clauses

The Decency clause establishes standards of acceptable behavior and content within the scope of an agreement or activity. It typically requires parties to refrain from actions, communications, or materials that could be considered offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate according to prevailing social norms. For example, it may prohibit the use of vulgar language in advertising or require that published materials meet certain moral standards. The core function of this clause is to protect the reputation and integrity of the parties involved by preventing conduct that could cause public disapproval or harm to their image.
