DECAL. Each licensee shall display 2 current fuel decals issued by the department for each qualified motor vehicle in its fleet. A fuel decal shall be placed on the exterior portion of the cab’s passenger side and driver’s side. In the case of transporters, manufacturers, dealers or driveaway operations, the decals need not be permanently affixed but may be temporarily displayed in a visible manner on the cab’s passenger side and driver’s side.

Materials Regulation (MR): The County provides a Materials Regulation program to work with private contractors and generators to determine if their waste can be accepted at the landfill. The staff inspects the waste at the generator's site and determines which laboratory tests are necessary to ascertain the levels of potentially hazardous constituents present in the materials. If the material is in compliance with the established guidelines , the MR staff arranges a time and place for inspection and disposal at the landfill. Low Level Radioactive Waste Detection: Low Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) detectors are installed at the fee booths. Any vehicles whose loads are identified with LLRW are segregated and prevented from unloading. The County of Orange Health Care Agency/Environmental Health Division is notified. Repeat offenders are referred to the County of Orange Hazardous Waste Strike Force.

C8.212 – MARKET-RELATED CONTRACT TERM ADDITION (11/08). The term of this contract may be adjusted when a drastic reduction in wood product prices has occurred in accordance with 36 CFR 223.52. The Producer Price Index used to determine when a drastic reduction in price has occurred is stated in A20. Purchaser will be notified whenever the Chief determines that a drastic reduction in wood product prices has occurred. If the drastic reduction criteria specified in 36 CFR 223.52 are met for 2 consecutive calendar quarters, after contract award date, Contracting Officer will add 1 year to the contract term, upon Purchaser’s written request. For each additional consecutive quarter such a drastic reduction occurs, Contracting Officer will, upon written request, add an additional 3 months to the term during Normal Operating Season, except that no single 3-month addition shall extend the term of the contract by more than one year. Contracting Officer must receive Purchaser’s written request for a market-related contract term addition before the expiration of this contract. No more than 3 years shall be added to a contract's term by market-related contract term addition unless the following conditions are met:

  • Towing Contractor shall meet all requirements set forth in Title 46 CFR, Part 15 for Towing Assistance. Unless otherwise specified in the work request, Purchasers require a dead-ship tow plan to be approved by the Coast Guard in accordance with the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee for vessels over 50-feet, unless the Coast Guard deems the plan unnecessary. Contractor is responsible to obtain a tow plan and provide Purchaser with an approved copy at least one (1) business day prior to the tow. The plan is located on the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee’s website under the Safety Plan link on the left side of the page (xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/about). This site will have the most update version of the plan.

  • Trees 1) Any major tree surgery or tree removal over a three (3) inch diameter, which becomes necessary through no fault of the Contractor, will be at the County's expense.
