Days of Work Per Week. (a) The basic days of work per week for a Full-Time employee shall be five full days within a calendar week except as provided in section Assignments of work may be for any of the days, Sunday to Saturday inclusive. An employee with or more years seniority may elect not to be assigned scheduled weekend work, but where there are not sufficient employees to do the scheduled work required during the weekend, it may be assigned to employees with or more years’ seniority in reverse order of seniority within an occupation. The Company may assign five days’ full-time work spread over six days where the assignment is at the request of an employee and Company force requirements permit the assignment. The days of work per week for a Part-Time employee may be less than the days of work per week for a Full-Time employee.

  • Period of Work Work under this Agreement shall begin no sooner than the date on which this Agreement has been fully executed by the parties and approved by the Controller and the State Purchases Review Committee. Unless terminated earlier, this Agreement shall expire on the date set out on the first page of this Agreement, or at the completion and acceptance of all specified tasks, and delivery of all contracted products and services as defined in this Agreement, including performance of any warranty and/or maintenance agreements, whichever is the later date.

  • Length of Work Year 1. The length of the work year for custodians, accountants, (excluding school lunch accountant), personnel specialist, maintenance, maintenance helpers, mechanics, purchasing coordinator, county receptionist, warehouse and property records coordinator shall be twelve months.

  • OF WORK The following provision designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the nursing schedule determined by the Hospital shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be performed on each tour or during each tour schedule. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Posting of Work Schedules Work schedules shall be written in ink and posted and maintained in such a way as to provide every employee an opportunity to know her shift schedule for an advanced period of six (6) weeks.
