Day of the Event. Event Times and Overtime Festivities must end by 11:00pm, allowing 1 hour for clean-up. Building and parking lot must be completely vacated by 12:00am. Events must begin and end at the contractually agreed upon time. A charge of $250 per hour will be assessed for each hour or part of an hour which an event runs over. Prior arrangements must be made by the renter with caterers, rental companies, event planners, or wedding consultants to set up and break down your event. The rented areas must be left in the condition they were found. Break down time will include inspection by facility monitor. Set up and break down of event must be done within the rental time frame. Initial: Exhibitions and Gallery Space OAC operates as a gallery, and as such, houses valuable and irreplaceable artworks belonging to the artists. These works of art create a unique setting for events and must be considered in planning your event. If the renter deems that any artworks are to be rearranged, dismantled, or removed to accommodate an event, this must be arranged 30 days in advance, and if approved, will result in an additional charge of $25 per piece of artwork. Initial: Parking Limited parking is available at the center. Additional parking is available along Second Street and on Main Street. Do not allow the turnaround to be blocked as this will cause traffic backups. Do not leave vehicles running while loading and unloading. Do not block the driveways of the residences across from the center -- blocking vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense. Do not park on the Coast Guard grounds or block entry to the Coast Guard Station -- vehicles doing so will be towed at owner’s expense. Day of the Event.  The person whose name is on the application as the renter must be the first person in the door on the day of the event, and must remain on site throughout the entire event. Only the authorized renter or approved agent may operate the sound equipment provided.  If another group is scheduled in the dance studio immediately before yours; please wait in the front lounge area until your rental time begins.  Prodigy Dance and Performing Arts Inc. is not responsible for accidents, injury, illness or loss of group or individual property. Please remind all participants to take proper safety precautions.  If there is an accident, injury, illness, theft or other incident, immediately notify the proper authorities and Prodigy Dance and Performing Arts staff in person or by phone at 000-000-0000 or 416-953-6640  Groups with minors (under age 18) must provide an adult supervisor at a ratio of 1 for every 20 minors. Do not leave minors unattended in the studio.  Do not put tape on the dance floor. It damages the surface finish.  Do not affix anything to the mirrors or windows.  Do not drag tables or chairs across the dance floor.  Do not post anything on the bulletin board without prior approval.  Bottled water is permitted in the dance studio, but should be kept along the wall. Other beverages, food and chewing gum are not permitted in the dance studio at any time. Animals, with the exception of working service dogs assisting persons with disabilities, are not permitted.  Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises at anytime.  Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.  Fire (including cigarettes, candles, incense and matches) are not permitted in the dance studio.  If a representative or group should violate any items of this agreement, Prodigy Dance and Performing Arts Inc. will have the right to terminate their occupancy immediately. After the Event  Remove all personal and group belongings that you brought to Prodigy Dance and Performing Arts Inc.  Make sure the sound equipment is turned off when you leave.  Make sure the lights are turned off when you leave, including dressing room in the studio & both bathrooms.  If you are a regular renter and have been issued a key, please make sure all doors are secure and locked. Events must begin and end at the contractually agreed upon time. A charge of $100 per hour will be assessed for each hour which an event runs over. Initial: Set Up/Break Down AITL staff will make tables and chairs available for your event, but the event host is responsible for set-up. Prior arrangements must be made by the event host with caterers, rental companies, event planners, or wedding decorators to set up and break down your event. The areas used must be left in the condition they were found. Break down time will include inspection by gallery employee (see checklist). Set up and break down of event must be done within the facility use time frame. Items may be picked up the following day, but gallery must be in position to open for business the following day. Day of the Event. Use of the main and lower sanctuary for the event. Use and Entrance to the building by (time and RENTER) to conduct sound check, product sponsor placement, and set-up. Dressing rooms and locations for talent to prepare and rest Use of our sound and production equipment under the direction of our Media Department MBCBC internal security (at least 2 officers) and Contractual Security Service for parking lot and External Street parking areas around the church. Access to maintenance under the direction of the MBCBC Event Manager for the day. All conditions stated in the MBCBC GUIDELINES AND ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (attached) Payment: The MBCBC Church Office must receive a Use Fee Deposit for $250.00 no later than 10 days after the date is reserved. The Use Fee Deposit is non-refundable and is applied to the balance of the fees. MBCBC and (RENTER) agree to the Use Fee Deposit as well as the payment plan outlined in Section “C” of the Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. In addition, (RENTER) agrees to secure a rider pursuant to Section “J” of the Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. Lastly, In order to secure external security during the event, (RENTER) agree to pay an additional ($) as discussed in Section “L” of the Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. MBCBC in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to withhold, cancel or decline to provide any services contracted for, if the total fees are not paid two weeks prior to the (Title of Event) event. Final Payment may be made in the form of cash, credit, cashier’s check or money order. MBCBC and (RENTER) agree that in the event any checks are returned by the bank, for non-payment, (RENTER) will be responsible for any additional charges incurred as a result, as well as the initial check amount which will be paid in cash and that all remaining transactions must be made in cash.

  • NO STRIKE OR LOCKOUT The Union agrees that there shall be no strike, walkout or other interruption of work by any employees or group of employees during the term of this Agreement and the Employer agrees that there shall be no lockout during the term of this Agreement.

  • STRIKE OR LOCKOUT 9.01 The University agrees that there will be no lockout of employees and the Union agrees that there will be no strike, during the term of this agreement. The words “strike” and “lockout” shall bear the meaning given them in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.

  • Meal Period ‌ A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts or which provides for staggered lunch periods within a craft or trade. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.
