The Database Manager clause designates a specific individual or entity responsible for overseeing and maintaining the database associated with the agreement. This clause typically outlines the manager's duties, such as ensuring data integrity, controlling access permissions, and performing regular updates or backups. By clearly assigning these responsibilities, the clause helps prevent data mishandling and ensures that the database remains secure and well-maintained throughout the contract term.
Database Manager. The full-time work schedule for a database manager shall consist of an eight (8) hour day and a forty (40) hour work week.
Database Manager. Responsibilities include consulting with the Program Manager and the Project Manager on data issues related to environmental cleanup projects. Duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring data integrity, data accessibility, and proper data formatting for transmission to Government databases. The qualified individual shall have an undergraduate degree in engineering or physical science and three (3) years experience working with environmental restoration projects. The qualified individual for this position shall be an employee of the prime contractor.

Must have at least four (4) years of work experience which demonstrates the ability to successfully interface with existing databases and to manage, organize and create new databases.

The Database Manager shall have the following as a minimum. (1) An undergraduate degree in engineering or a physical science (2) At least three (3) years of experience working with environmental restoration projects. (3) A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement providing 30 credit hours of math and science that is to be documented in transcripts including a total of 5 years of documented experience.

Sees a lot of value in standards as they will limit the amount of data that is not comparable and minimize the transformational work. Spends most of his time querying people on incorrect data. Librarian for data. Concerned about semantics and naming conventions. Spends lots of time in front of a computer preparing data for entry into databases. Concerned about interfaces for entering data and tools that enable automated loading.
Database Manager. The Database Manager shall be a professional with an associate technical degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in application development and application architecture. The Database Manager shall demonstrate the ability to display a real time database for both contractor and Government personnel, as well as the ability to transition an existing database from one platform to another. The Database Manager shall be proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining the database in the platform the contractor chooses to house the database. Additional personnel qualifications may be proposed in support of further program management and/or the execution of task orders as laid out in Task C.2 above.
