Common use of Data Defined Clause in Contracts

Data Defined. For the purposes of this Section 8.2, " DATA" means all designs, plans, models, drawings, prints, samples, transparencies, specifications, reports, manuscripts, working notes, documentation, manuals, photographs, negatives, tapes, discs, databases, software, works of art, inventions, discoveries, components and any Contract Documents or similar items.
