Damaged by Contractor Sample Clauses
The 'Damaged by Contractor' clause establishes the contractor's responsibility for any damage they cause to the property, materials, or work during the course of a project. Typically, this clause requires the contractor to repair, replace, or compensate for any such damage, whether it affects the client's property, third-party property, or the work itself. Its core function is to allocate risk and ensure that the contractor remains accountable for their actions, thereby protecting the client from bearing the costs of damage resulting from the contractor's operations.
