Common use of Damage and Destruction Clause in Contracts

Damage and Destruction. 18.1 (a) If the Premises or the Building are damaged by fire or other casualty, Landlord shall give Tenant written notice of the time which will be needed to repair such damage, as determined by Landlord in its reasonable discretion, and the election (if any) which Landlord has made pursuant to this Article 18. Such notice shall be given before the 30th day (the "Notice Date") after the fire or other casualty.
