Common use of Customer Use Clause in Contracts

Customer Use. Title Records made available to Customer under this Agreement are to be used by Customer solely for the purpose of conducting Title Searches of specific parcels of real property and examinations thereof in connection with bona fide Title Orders of Customer. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Customer agrees that access to the Title Records shall not be utilized by Customer or any of its employees for the purpose of furnishing any Title Record information to any other title insurance company, title company, or any person, firm or corporation except Customer and Customer’s customers in the ordinary course of its business. However, Customer shall have the right to utilize the Title Records to furnish the usual customer service as to inquiry by customers of Customer as regards specific parcels of land or specific documents covered in such Title Records; provided that Customer shall not deliver a copy of any Starter (other than a Customer Starter) to any other person.
