Customary Teaching Assignments Clause Samples

The "Customary Teaching Assignments" clause defines the standard teaching responsibilities expected of an instructor or faculty member under an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the number of courses, types of classes, or contact hours that constitute a normal teaching load, and may specify variations based on department needs or faculty rank. By clearly establishing what is considered a regular assignment, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings about workload expectations and ensures both parties have a shared understanding of teaching obligations.
