Custodian Overtime. 1. If an Employee will be absent, the Employee with the smaller amount of accumulated overtime shall be asked to work that shift. If refused, the Employee refusing the hours will be charged for the hours offered and the overtime is then offered to the next Employee with the next least amount of overtime in the building. Each Employee shall be given a written overtime offer that includes the hours of anticipated overtime and he/she shall sign for acceptance or rejection of the overtime offered.
Custodian Overtime. This is the overtime worked by the Vendor Custodians for the applicable period.
Custodian Overtime. A list shall be kept of all overtime worked in each building. First opportunity for overtime shall be distributed within a building equally. If custodians in the same building are not available to work, then those opportunities shall be made available to custodians, who work in other buildings on an equal basis. The Director of Facilities reserves the right to assign a custodian in the event of an emergency.
Custodian Overtime. 1. In the event the Swing Custodian is absent for five (5) work days or less, the regular elementary Head Custodian will be offered the opportunity to work up to three (3) hours to cover for the Swing Custodian, if necessary. If coverage for the Swing Custodian is needed at the junior or senior high school, the Head Custodian in that building will be offered the opportunity to work up to three (3) hours. If further coverage is needed, a substitute may be called. If the regular elementary Head Custodian is absent, the Swing Custodian will be offered the opportunity to work to cover for the Head Custodian and will be offered the opportunity to work up to three (3) hours to cover for the swing custodian’s regular shift.

  • Banked Overtime In the event the day in lieu of working the statutory holiday is not provided as stipulated in 8.01.04, this portion may also be banked.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Banking of Overtime (i) Tour Workers who work in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours shall have the option of receiving the overtime premium on the basis of this Section or of receiving straight time for hours in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours and taking equivalent time off in units of not less than four (4) hours at the hourly rate for the job when the work was performed, at a time suitable to the employee and the Company during the contract year. Any overtime remaining at the end of the contract year in which it is banked may be carried over to the next contract year for purposes of taking equivalent time off. If equivalent time off is not taken by the end of the contract year following the contract year in which it is earned, the Company shall pay the deferred one-half premium pay. Tour Workers who choose to bank overtime may later re-elect to receive the deferred one-half premium pay.

  • Payment of Overtime 5.5.1 Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter. Casual Employees will be entitled to the appropriate all- purpose penalty rates and their 25% casual loading as identified in clause 2.1.2.

  • Unscheduled Overtime I. a payment of forty dollars ($40.00) as a meal allowance.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Emergency Overtime In the event of an emergency as defined in Section 13.15 notwithstanding the terms of this Article, the Agency Head or designee may assign someone to temporarily meet the emergency requirements, regardless of the overtime distribution.

  • Assignment of Overtime (a) In assigning overtime work, the Agency agrees to consider any circumstances which might cause such an assignment to be an unusual burden upon the employee. When such circumstances do exist, the employee shall not be required to work unless his/her absence would cause the Agency to be unable to meet its responsibilities.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Calculation of Overtime If the overtime work has been carried out before as well as after the regular working hours during a certain day, the overtime periods shall be added together. Only full half hours are included in the calculation.
