Crude Oil Priority Clause Samples
The Crude Oil Priority clause establishes the order in which crude oil is allocated or delivered among multiple parties or contracts. In practice, this clause specifies which buyers or agreements receive priority access to crude oil supplies, especially in situations where available quantities are limited. For example, it may give precedence to long-term contract holders over spot buyers or allocate supply based on pre-agreed criteria. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and fairness in the distribution of crude oil, thereby minimizing disputes and managing expectations during periods of supply constraint.
Crude Oil Priority. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Article 20, the Production of Crude Oil shall not be unduly delayed or hindered by any evaluation or indecision with regard to the possible Development of a Discovery of Associated Gas or Non-associated Gas.
