Critical Illness b. On payment of a Claim under Benefit I, the cover will cease in respect for that Insured Person.
Critical Illness. Three (3) days per year with pay shall be granted in the case of critical illness or accident to a member of the employee's immediate family as defined in Section 7.4. A statement by the physician verifying the illness or accident is life threatening and the need for the employee to be present with the immediate family member shall be attached to the employee’s Report of Absence form when submitted to his or her immediate supervisor. To qualify for critical illness leave, the situation must be or relate to an illness or condition involving the danger of death.
Critical Illness. Effective November 1, 2011 or such reasonable time thereafter as may be required, a Critical Illness Insurance will be made available to employees with the full premiums to be paid by the employees.
Critical Illness. Critical illness is defined as an illness where death is impending, but recovery is possible. Teachers, including those assigned as long-call reserves, may be granted a leave of absence for up to five (5) days in the event of the critical illness of the teacher's mother, father, sister, brother, children, spouse, significant other, parents of spouse, or parents of significant other and anyone who has the position of parent or child, or any person who has been a member of the teacher's household immediately prior to the critical illness. Such leaves shall not exceed fifteen (15) days in a single contract period. Documentation may be requested.

Employees may be granted a leave of absence for up to four (4) days in the event of the critical illness of the employee’s mother, father, sister, brother, children, grandchildren, son/daughter-in-law, spouse, significant other, parents of spouse, or parents of significant other and anyone who has the position of parent or child, or any person who has been a member of the employee’s household immediately prior to the critical illness. Effective July 1, 2012, such leaves shall not exceed fifteen (15) days in a single contract period.
Critical Illness. To facilitate effective management of the benefit plans described in the “Schedule of Benefits”, the Parties shall form a Joint Benefit Committee which shall review premiums, plan usage, renewal, administration and costs and may meet with the insurance carrier(s) from time to time to discuss the various components of the benefits described in the “Schedule of Benefits”. Any changes to the benefits coverage shall be subject to negotiations between the Employer and the Union.
Critical Illness. 1.0 All full-time Members are entitled to enroll in the critical illness insurance plan.

Critical Illness. To be provided to the employee only subject to a sum insured of Rs. 1,00,000/- . Cover starts on inception of the policy. In case an employee contracts a Critical Illness as listed below, the total sum insured of Rs.1,00,000/- is paid, as a benefit. This benefit is provided on first detection/diagnosis of the Critical Illness. • Cancer including Leukemia • Stroke • Paralysis • By Pass Surgery • Major Organ Transplant • End Stage Liver Disease • Heart Attack • Kidney Failure • Heart Valve Replacement Surgery Hospitalization is not required to claim this benefit. Further the Employee can claim the cost of hospitalization on the same from the Group Mediclaim Policy as cashless / reimbursement of expenses for the treatment taken by him.
