Common use of Criminal Actions Clause in Contracts

Criminal Actions. The Employer will not direct nor expect any employee to participate in any criminal activity as part of their employment. Where an employee is charged with a criminal offence resulting directly from the proper performance of their duties and subsequently found not guilty, the employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable legal costs. Employees shall have the right to refuse involvement in any activity that may be criminal and shall not be subject to disciplinary action as a result of such refusal.
