CPI Index Sample Clauses

CPI Index. CPI Index" shall mean the monthly Consumer Price Index - All Items - All Urban Consumers (base year 1982-1984 = 100) for the South Urban Region - Size B/C (50,000 to 1,500,000) for the United States, published by the United States Department of Labor. If the CPI Index is changed so that the base year differs from that in effect on the Effective Date, the Index shall be converted in accordance with the conversion factor published by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. If the CPI Index is discontinued or revised during the Term, such other governmental index or computation with which it is replaced shall be used in order to obtain substantially the same result as would be obtained if the CPI Index had not been discontinued or revised.

CPI Index. In the event the CPI Index is not published for a month required for a computation hereunder, index for the next preceding month shall be used. If the CPI Index should no longer be published, Landlord shall select a substitute index which is most comparable to the CPI Index.

If the Index is changed so that the Base Year differs from that called for below, the Index shall be converted in accordance with the conversion factor published by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. In the event the Index is revised during the term, such revised Index shall be used for both comparison dates.
