Common use of Covenants Against Competition Clause in Contracts

Covenants Against Competition. The Executive acknowledges that (i) the Company is currently engaged in the business of owning, managing and operating onshore drilling and workover rigs for its own account or for others which are contracted or hired for the purpose of drilling and/or workover of oil or natural gas (the "Company Business"); (ii) his work for the Company will give him access to trade secrets of and confidential information concerning the Company; and (iii) the agreements and covenants contained in this Agreement are essential to protect the business and goodwill of the Company. Accordingly, the Executive covenants and agrees as follows:

Covenants Against Competition. The Executive acknowledges that (i) the Company is currently engaged in the business of owning, managing and operating onshore drilling and workover rigs for its own account or for others which are contracted or hired for the purpose of drilling and/or workover of oil or natural gas wxxxx (the "“Company Business"”); (ii) his work for the Company will give him access to trade secrets of and confidential information concerning the Company; and (iii) the agreements and covenants contained in this Agreement are essential to protect the business and goodwill of the Company. Accordingly, the Executive covenants and agrees as follows:
