Common use of COPE Deduction Clause in Contracts

COPE Deduction. The Board, upon the receipt of a written authorization from a teacher, shall deduct the authorized amount of a teacher's voluntary contribution to the North Suburban Teachers Union's Committee on Political Education (COPE) from his/her pay. This contribution shall be deducted from the last paycheck in October and forwarded to the Union no more than ten (10) working days after the payday from which such deduction is made.
