Court Time An employee who is called to appear as a witness in his/her official capacity by a court, including administrative court, on a scheduled day off, a scheduled vacation day or other approved day off shall be paid for the hours so spent, including actual, necessary travel time, at his/her regular hourly rate. This hourly rate shall include the non-standard premium for those employees designated as non-standard. Payment under this Article shall be the total payment for such court time from all sources other than regular pay for the scheduled day off. An employee who is assigned a State vehicle shall be entitled to use such vehicle on such occasions.
Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.
Part-Time A part-time employee is an employee who regularly works less than forty (40) hours per week. The Agency shall not use part-time employees to avoid full-time benefits.
PAID FOR TIME Wages for properly selected vacations, in all instances, will be paid to the employees no later than the workday prior to their vacation. If the employee does not receive his/her vacation check, the Employer will make all reasonable efforts to provide the check the following day including delivery by Saturday or Next Day Air. If the employee requests to see his vacation check on the Monday as permitted below and the Employer fails to make the vacation payment available by Saturday following the employee’s regular scheduled pay day the employee shall be paid an additional amount equal to one-half (1/2) of his or her daily guarantee at his or her regular hourly rate for every subsequent pay period until the shortage is corrected. Other shortages involving more than fifty forty ($40.00) ($50.00) dollars for full-time employees, and twenty ($20.00) twenty-five ($25.00) dollars for part-time employees, will be corrected and the payment will be made available to the employee at his/her reporting location on his/her second scheduled workday after reporting the shortage. If the Employer fails to make the payment available on the employee’s second scheduled workday and the shortage was the result of the Employer’s error, the employee will be paid an additional amount equal to one-half (1/2) of his/her daily guarantee at his/her regular hourly rate for every full pay period in which the shortage is not paid after the second (2nd) scheduled work day, until corrected. Errors of less than fifty ($50.00) forty ($40.00) dollars for full-time employees or twenty-five ($25.00) twenty ($20.00) dollars for part- time employees and overages will be corrected in the following weekly paycheck. The Union and Employer shall have the authority at any level of the grievance procedure to award a penalty up to the amount specified in the prior paragraph for any violation of the provision. If an employee works in different classifications during a shift that are paid at different rates, the different hours and rates shall be available for review electronically by an employee on a Company maintained website. Any grievance payments included on a paycheck will also be available for review by affected employees electronically with the applicable identifying grievance number on a website maintained by the Employer. Nothing in this paragraph is intended to eliminate any local practices regarding availability of data regarding grievance settlements.
Contract Time The period of time established for completion of the Project by the Contract Documents. Contract Time commences upon the date specified in the Proceed Order and ends upon the Material Completion and Occupancy Date, as it may be amended.
Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.
Regular Part-Time The establishment of a regular part-time position is a joint decision of local management and the chief xxxxxxx made in a spirit of trust and co-operation. The parties will ensure that regular part-time positions are appropriately used to maintain corporate effectiveness, not to split a regular full-time position. Regular part-time employees are regularly employed on an average of 24 hours or less per week calculated on a monthly basis. They are employed for a minimum of 16 hours per month. Regular part-time employees are treated as regular employees except where noted otherwise. Pro-Ration Formula: The regular part-time employee benefit pro-ration formula is calculated based on the hours worked by the regular part-time employee expressed as a percentage of the normal scheduled number of hours for the classification. Where the number of regular part-time hours vary in a week it will be necessary to calculate this percentage over a jointly agreed upon extended period to get an accurate figure.
Lieu Time (i) Subject to (ii). (iii), and (iv) below, overtime taken as lieu time shall be accumulated at the rate of
Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.
Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.
