Common use of CONTRARY TO LAW Clause in Contracts

CONTRARY TO LAW. If any Article or a part thereof of this Agreement or any addition thereto should be decided as in violation of any Federal or State law or if adherence to or enforcement of any Article or part thereof should be restrained by a court of law, the remaining Articles of the Agreement or any addition thereto shall not be affected. Both parties shall convene immediately to negotiate satisfactory replacement language to any Article found to be contrary to law.
