Contracts for Paraprofessionals. 1. For paraprofessional employees, the District shall provide a contract which includes the expected position, expected wage rate, expected hours per day, and expected days per year. Such notice will specify that the School District or the paraprofessional employee may terminate the employment by providing fourteen (14) calendar days written notice to the other. 2. When an opening for a professional position in this bargaining unit becomes available, the District shall interview paraprofessional employees who are certified for the position and request an interview.
