Common use of Contractor's Design Clause in Contracts

Contractor's Design. The Contractor must: design the parts of the Works which the Contract requires it to design in accordance with the Works Description, the Preliminary Design Solution and the other requirements of the Contract and for this purpose (but without limitation) prepare all relevant Design Documentation; and submit the Design Documentation it prepares to the Contract Administrator in accordance with the documentation program approved by the Contract Administrator under clause 6.1.
