Contractor Submittals. The A/E’s action in reviewing submittals shall be taken in accordance with the approved submittal schedule or, in the absence of an approved submittal schedule, with reasonable promptness. The A/E shall review and approve, or take other appropriate action upon, the Contractor’s submittals such as Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples, but only for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with information given and the design concept expressed in the Contract Documents. The A/E shall review and respond to requests for information about the Contract Documents. The A/E’s response to such requests shall be made in writing with reasonable promptness. If appropriate, the A/E shall prepare and issue supplemental Drawings and Specifications in response to the requests for information. Changes in the Work The A/E may order minor changes in the Work that are consistent with the intent of the Contract Documents and do not involve an adjustment in the Contract Sum or an extension of the Contract Time. The A/E shall prepare Change Orders and Construction Change Directives, with supporting technical data and cost documentation supplied by the Contractor, for the Agency’s approval and execution in accordance with the Contract Documents. Project Completion As required by the project, the A/E shall: conduct inspections to determine the date or dates of Substantial Completion and the date of final completion; issue Certificates of Substantial Completion; forward to the Agency, for the Agency’s review and records, written warranties and related documents required by the Contract Documents and received from the Contractor; and, issue a final Certificate for Payment based upon a final inspection indicating that, to the best of the A/E’s knowledge, information, and belief, the Work complies with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The A/E and the A/E’s consultants and engineers shall conduct one Substantial Completion Inspection and one Final Completion Inspection. If additional inspections are required, payment to the A/E may be adjusted. When Substantial Completion has been achieved, the A/E shall inform the Agency about the balance of the Contract Sum remaining to be paid the Contractor, including the amount to be retained from the Contract Sum, if any, for final completion or correction of the Work.

Contractor Submittals. Review of any construction contractor submittals (for example, shop drawings), if included as part of OhmComm, Inc.’ design or consulting services set forth in the SOW, is conducted only for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with information given and the design concept expressed in any contract documents prepared by OhmComm, Inc., but such review is not conducted for the purpose of determining the accuracy and completeness of details such as dimensions and quantities or for substantiating instructions for installation or performance of equipment or systems designed by the construction contractor, all of which remain the responsibility of the construction contractor to the extent required by any contract documents as part of the contract for construction. OhmComm, Inc.’ review shall not constitute approval of safety precautions or of construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures. OhmComm, Inc.’ approval of a specific item shall not indicate approval of an assembly of which the item is a component. When professional certification of performance characteristics of materials, systems or equipment is required by any contract documents as part of the contract for construction, OhmComm, Inc. shall be entitled to rely upon such certification to establish that the materials, systems or equipment will meet the performance criteria required by any contract documents as part of the contract for construction.
Contractor Submittals. 6.1 DRAFT ARCHAEOLOGICAL WORK PLAN WITH BURIAL TREATMENT AND SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH PLANS. The Contractor shall compose a work plan specific to the Task Order that addresses the Contractor’s methodology in completing the Task Order requests. The methodology should be research driven with a minimum of three research questions being presented that are relevant to the project area. This shall include, but is not limited to the information specified in Attachment J-2 Outline for Draft and Final Reports in Section J. The Draft Report shall be a finished document that has been evaluated according to the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan; and which has been copy-edited for consistency, organization, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. The report shall be submitted to the designated Contracting Officer’s Representative as specified in the Task Order. If revisions are necessary, the Government shall forward review comments to the Contractor. All reports shall conform to the requirements listed in Attachment J-3 General Report Specifications in Section J. It is stressed that Draft Reports shall be complete, of professional quality, and thoroughly edited. Draft reports not meeting these standards will not be accepted. If stipulated in the Project Work Statement, the submittal shall include geographical information systems compatible with the governments version of ESRI ArcGIS (currently ArcGIS 10.5), that include at a minimum all relational databases, maps, photographs, illustrations, metadata, dictionaries, and directions for use. The Contractor shall also include a Burial Treatment Plan and Site Safety and Health Plan specific to the task order and separately placed within the appendices of the work plan.
Contractor Submittals. A. Demolition and reconstruction activities and procedures, including operational sequences, shall be submitted to the ENGINEER for approval. The procedures shall provide for safe conduct of the WORK, careful removal and disposition of materials and equipment, protection of existing facilities which are to remain undisturbed, coordination with existing facilities to remain in service, and timely disconnection and reconnection of utility services. The procedures shall include a detailed description and time schedule of the methods and equipment to be used for each operation and the sequence of operation.
