Common use of Contract Officer Clause in Contracts

Contract Officer. The Contract Officer for the City shall be the Director of Public Works/City Engineer or such other person as may be designated by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer. It shall be the CONTRACTOR's responsibility to assure that the Contract Officer is kept informed of the progress of the performance of the services and the CONTRACTOR shall refer any decision which must be made by approval of CITY required hereunder shall mean the approval of the Contract Officer.
