Continuing Pay. Permanent employees shall continue to receive the appropriate percent as outlined above of their regular monthly salary during any period of compensable temporary disability not to exceed one year. Payment of continuing pay and/or temporary disability compensation is made in accordance with Part 2, Article 3 of the Workers’ Compensation Laws of California. "Compensable temporary disability absence" for the purpose of this Section, is any absence due to work connected disability which qualifies for temporary disability compensation as set forth in Part 2, Article 3 of the Workers’ Compensation Laws of California. When any disability becomes medically permanent and stationary and/or reaches maximum medical improvement, the salary provided in this Section shall terminate. No charge shall be
