Common use of Continuation Health Coverage Clause in Contracts

Continuation Health Coverage. If the Employer so permits and the Participant, Spouse or Dependent becomes eligible for continuation coverage under a Benefit Option that is a group health plan in accordance with the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (“COBRA”) or any similar state law, the Participant may elect to increase payments under such group health plan(s) to pay for continuation coverage.
