Contagious Diseases. An employee who contacts a communicable disease (such as measles, mumps, chicken pox, etc.) shall be paid at his/her full salary and shall not have days absent deducted from sick leave, provided the Medical Health Officer certifies that there are cases of such disease in the school or the School District.
Contagious Diseases. Absence due to illness resulting from contact with children at school, if the contagious contact can be traced, will be paid for without deduction from sick leave days in cases of diseases such as mumps, measles, scarlet fever, whooping cough, chicken pox, hepatitis, pediculosis and conjunctivitis; but not for diseases such as influenza, colds, coughs or any other disease.
Contagious Diseases. Where the Employer has undertaken preventative measures to protect employees Safety and Health such practices shall continue. The Employer, where directed, by a public health officer in accordance with the Regulations under the Early Learning and Child Care Act, shall provide preventative measures for those employees in contact with known contagious diseases.
Contagious Diseases. 26 In accordance with departmental policies, in Health and Human Services facilities, 27 Veteran’s homes, Correctional facilities, and Education institutions, the Employer will, 28 when a source of possible contagion becomes known, isolate such source if possible and 29 notify the employees and the Union of the source, the possible contagion, the isolation 30 steps taken, and those further precautions which will be required to avoid contagion. 31 The Employer shall provide necessary supplies, training and equipment for such 32 precautions. The parties recognize that an individual’s rights regarding confidentiality may 33 not be violated. However, employees’ right to know shall be in accordance with applicable 34 statutes. 35 The Employer acknowledges that the issue of contagious diseases and exposure to 36 communicable diseases is of significant concern to MSEA Bargaining Unit employees. 37 The parties agree that the Employer shall abide by the recommendations of CDC and 38 MIOSHA and any appropriate local health department related to contagious diseases and 39 that they shall consider recommendations by the U.S. Department of Health and Human 40 Services and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Contagious Diseases. L40:01 In situations that meet the following criteria, the employer will cover the cost of obtaining immunizations for contagious diseases:

We regret that we cannot enrol children with ‘contagious’ illnesses of a serious nature at school because of the risk of passing on infections, additionally severely sick children require special one on one attention and probable continuous medical attention, which our facilities’ are not equipped nor cater for.

When a source of a possible contagion in a worksite becomes known, the Employer shall notify the employees and the Union of the possible contagion, the isolation steps implemented and precautions required to avoid contagion. The parties recognize an individual’s rights regarding confidentiality shall not be violated. An employee’s right to know shall be in accordance with applicable statutes.
Contagious Diseases. Employees will not be charged sick leave due to absence from their jobs for reason of illness definitely established as contracted as a result of their employment, from the following list:
Contagious Diseases. 6.1 Should Cornwall Plus become aware, or have reasonable grounds for suspicion, that a Guest has contracted a contagious disease which has the potential to infect a large number of people quickly, they and their party will be required to leave the site.
