"published": true}], "snippet": "3.1 The Customer will have statutory cancellation rights if the Customer is contracting with the Company as a consumer (i.e. not for the purposes of the Customer\u2019s trade, business, craft or profession) and the Contract is a distance contract or off- premises contract within the meaning of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (the \"Regulations\").\n3.2 Under the Regulations, a consumer may cancel a Contract (without giving any reason for cancellation) at any time within the period:\n3.2.1 beginning upon the submission of the Customer\u2019s order; and\n3.2.2 ending at the end of 14 days after the day on which the Goods come into the Customer\u2019s physical possession or the physical possession of a person identified by the Customer to take possession of them (or, if the Contract is for the supply of multiple Goods, lots or pieces of something, 14 days after the day on which the last of those Goods, lots or pieces comes into the Customer\u2019s physical possession or the physical possession of a person identified by the Customer to take possession of them).\n3.3 The Customer agrees that the Hire Period may commence before the expiry of the period referred to in Condition 3.2 and the Customer acknowledges that if the Hire Period does begin before the end of the period referred to in Condition 3.2, then the Customer will lose the right to cancel referred to in Condition 3.2.\n3.4 In order to cancel a Contract on the basis described in Condition 3.2, the Customer must inform the Company of the Customer\u2019s decision to cancel. The Customer may inform the Company by means of any clear statement setting out the decision. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for the Customer to send the Customer\u2019s communication concerning the exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.\n3.5 The Customer must send the Goods back to the Company or hand them over to the Company or a person authorised by the Company to receive them. The Customer must comply with the Customer\u2019s obligations referred to in this Condition 3.5 without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after the day on which the Customer informs the Company of the Customer\u2019s decision to cancel the Contract. The Customer must pay the direct cost of returning the Goods.\n3.6 If the Customer cancels a Contract on the basis described in Condition 3.2, the Customer will receive a full refund of the amount the Customer paid to the Company in respect of the order.\n3.7 If the value of the Goods returned by the Customer is diminished by any amount as a result of the handling of those Goods by the Customer beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Goods, the Company may recover that amount from the Customer up to the amount of the Charges. The Company may recover that amount by deducting it from any refund due to the Customer or require the Customer to pay that amount direct to the Company. Handling which goes beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a store will be \"beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Goods\" for these purposes.\n3.8 Unless the Company has offered to collect the Goods, the Company will process a refund due to the Customer as a result of a cancellation on the basis described in Condition 3.2 within the period of 14 days after the day on which the Company receives the returned Goods or (if earlier) after the day on which the Customer supplies to the Company evidence of having sent the Goods back. If the Company has not sent the Goods to the Customer at the time of cancellation or has offered to collect the Goods, the Company will process a refund due to the Customer without undue delay and, in any case, within the period of 14 days after the day on which the Company is informed of the cancellation.\n3.9 The cancellation right described in Condition 3.2 is in addition to any other right that the Customer might have to reject the Goods, for instance because they are faulty or defective.\n3.10 The Customer will not have the right to cancel a Contract on the basis described in Condition 3.2 in respect of any Goods which are ordered, made or customised in accordance with the Customer\u2019s specific requirements.\n3.11 If the Customer does not satisfy the criteria for exercising the statutory cancellation rights described in Conditions 3.1-3.10, the Customer may not cancel the Contract unless otherwise agreed with the Company in writing and such agreement will only be given, subject to the payment of adequate compensation and expenses incurred in connection with the Contract and for any loss of profit. The Company may in addition impose a cancellation, restocking and administrative charge at its discretion.\n3.12 If the Customer is contracting with the Company as a consumer, Conditions 3.13-3.14 summarise the Customer\u2019s key legal rights in relation to the Goods, which are subject to certain exceptions.\n3.13 The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected life of the Goods, the Customer is entitled to the following:\n3.13.1 up to 30 days: if the Goods are damaged or faulty, then the Customer can get a refund;\n3.13.2 up to six months: if the damaged or faulty Goods cannot be repaired or replaced, then the Customer is entitled to a refund of up to the full amount, in most cases;\n3.13.3 up to six years: in the event that the Goods can be expected to last up to six years the Customer may be entitled to a repair or replacement, or, if the Goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Customer may be entitled to some of its money back.\n3.14 If the Customer wishes to exercise its legal rights to reject the Goods the Customer must return the Goods or allow the Goods to be collected by the Company.
