Common use of CONSULTATIVE MECHANISMS Clause in Contracts

CONSULTATIVE MECHANISMS. In agreeing to form a Consultative Committee, Xxxxxx Bros, the Employees and the Union acknowledge the requirements for an atmosphere of mutual trust and co-operation. The overall purpose of the Committee is to provide an environment for greater communication and, in doing so, establish a forum in which employees are able to express their points of view and thus an opportunity to influence management decision making and also allowing management to utilize knowledge and experience. The Committee will pursue the objectives of this Agreement. Two important areas of operation are specifically excluded from the domain of the Consultative Committee:
