Identify conflicts, omissions or overlaps in the proposed division of work, evaluate the completeness of the intended bid categories, and identify unusual design details affecting construction cost and schedules.\nC. Apply established value engineering principles and practices to reduce the cost of each Project.\nD. Identify factors with potential to impact the Construction Schedule such as materials with long lead time, unavailability of labor, and other factors and make suggestions for acceptable alternatives.\nE. Evaluate and make suggestions to optimize site utilization\nF. Recommend proposed modifications or alternatives to the review Construction Documents.\nG. Notify the Owner and Design Professional in writing of any variances between the Construction Documents and applicable laws, statutes, building codes, rules and regulations of which it is aware.\nH. In the Project Schedule, Construction Manager shall coordinate and integrate Construction Manager\u2019s services, the Architect\u2019s services and the District\u2019s responsibilities with anticipated construction schedules, highlighting critical and long-lead-time items.\n1.3 Construction Manager shall consult with the District and Architect regarding the Construction Documents and make recommendations whenever design details adversely affect constructability, cost or schedules. Construction Manager shall review the contract document submissions and provide written comments on the coordination of the various disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and landscape.\n1.4 Construction Manager shall provide recommendations and information to the District and Architect regarding the assignment of responsibilities for temporary Project facilities and equipment, materials and services for common use of the Contractors. Construction Manager shall verify that such requirements and assignment of responsibilities are included in the proposed Contract Documents.\n1.5 If applicable, Construction Manager shall assist the District in developing and implementing a plan for temporary housing of students and staff.\n1.6 Construction Manager shall provide recommendations and information to the District regarding the allocation of responsibilities for safety programs among the Contractors.\n1.7 Construction Manager shall advise on the division of the Project into individual Contracts for various components of work. If multiple contracts are to be awarded, Construction Manager shall review the Construction Documents and make recommendations as required to provide that (1) the work of the Contractors is coordinated, (2) all requirements for the Project have been assigned to the appropriate Contract(s), (3) there are no gaps, overlaps or missing scope in the work assigned to various Contract(s), and
