Common use of Construction Lien Clause in Contracts

Construction Lien. The Subdivider shall pay promptly those employed in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the Works, but shall hold back such sums as are required to be held back by the Construction Lien Act. The Subdivider shall indemnify the County against any claims, actions or demands for construction liens or otherwise in connection with the Works; and, on the demand by the County. The Subdivider shall forthwith discharge any such lien or any certificate of action which may be registered against the Works or the Land.
