Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities described in Appendix A hereto, at the sole expense of the Developer.
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. The PCO and the Point of Interconnection (“POI”) are designated on Figure A-1 to this Appendix A. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities (“CTOAFs”) include the facilities between the PCO and the POI. As depicted in Figure A-1, the CTOAFs include the following major electrical and physical equipment: (1) line disconnect switch, motor operated, three-phase vertical break, 230 kV nominal, 900 kV basic insulation level (“BIL”), 2000 A continuous;
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities include all facilities between the Point of Change of Ownership and the Point of Interconnection. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities will contain the revenue metering units, one (1) 115 kV disconnect switch and the necessary 115 kV bus work and structures to connect the new Point of Interconnection substation, known as the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Substation, with the Developer’s Attachment Facilities. This includes the following major electrical and physical equipment: 1. Three (3) 115 kV, 1200A, TPST, vert. brk. w/arc. horns disconnect switches 2. Three (3) Meter Combo Units CT/VT 115kV, 600/300:5 MA; 3. Grounding materials; 4. Conduit and trench; 5. Control cabling; 6. 115 kV Bus work; and 7. 115 kV Structures. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities shall be designed, procured, and constructed by the Developer. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform design reviews, construction supervision, and testing of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities.
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities are diagrammed in Figure A-1 of this Appendix A. 1. LIPA 8ER-Brookhaven Substation. The 69 kV interconnecting line from the 9WU-BNL substation shall be installed underground within the LIPA 8ER Brookhaven Substation. A termination structure will be provided by the Connecting Transmission Owner to allow the Developer’s contractors to terminate the new 69kV underground connecting line. a) In support of the interconnection of the Large Generating Facility to LIPA’s Electrical System, a new 69kv interconnection terminal will be required to be constructed by Connecting Transmission Owner inside the existing LIPA 8ER Brookhaven Substation. Termination structure provided by the Connecting Transmission Owner within LIPA 8ER Brookhaven Substation is 7ft north of switch 6054/ground switch structure. Developer shall hand dig cable trench from fence to the pothead structure. The Developer will direct bury the cables, install riser conduits to the structure, sealing and support bushings at the top of the conduits for the cable, terminate the cable and mount the terminator to the Connecting Transmission Owner structure and provide a jumper with a 4-hole terminal pad and terminal bolts to connect Connecting Transmission Owner bus with termination made by the Connecting Transmission Owner. Developer shall cut and patch the paved road and replace and augment the rock surfacing. b) Major Equipment -  One (1) 69 kV, 43 ▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇ GCB (6050)  One (1) 69 kV, 2000A ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/Price GOD (6053)  One (1) 69 kV, 2000A, 100KA ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/Price GOD/Gnd Sw combo (6054)  One (1) set of 69 kV, High Accuracy, 0.15 Trench metering PT’s  One (1) set of 69 kV, High Accuracy, 2.0 Thermal Rating factor and Trench metering CT’s c) Civil Work – Structures for the following  Two (2) 69kV switches  One (1) set of 69kV metering CT’s  One (1) set of 69kV metering PT’s  One (1) set of 69kV cable terminations  Six (6) single bus supports  Foundations are required for all of the new structures as well as for the new 69kV GCB.
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. The PCO and the Point of Interconnection (“POI”) are designated on Figure A-1 to this Appendix A. Pursuant to Article 5.1.3 of this Agreement, the Developer has chosen the option to build the CTOAFs. The Developer will design and construct the CTOAFs in accordance with Applicable Laws and Regulations and the applicable requirements and standards of the Connecting Transmission Owner set forth in Appendix H, and subject to the Connecting Transmission Owner’s approval, to the extent not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement or the NYISO OATT. The Developer will provide the CTOAFs to the Connecting Transmission Owner in such condition that they comply with all Applicable Laws and Regulations.
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. Connecting Transmission Owner or Interconnection Customer, as determined in accordance with Article 5 of this Agreement, shall design, procure, construct, and/or install the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities described in Appendix A hereto at the sole expense of the Interconnection Customer. Connecting Transmission Owner shall own the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities.

As depicted in Figure A-1, the CTOAFs include the following major electrical and physical equipment: • bus support structures, equipment structures, and metering unit foundations; • expansion of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Avenue Substation grounding system; • lighting study; • investigation and mitigation of contaminants; • conduit and cable trench system; • two (2) 138kV, 3000A, 120 kA 650 basic insulation level (“BIL”) vertical break disconnect switches with arcing horns and auxiliary switch contacts (approved manufacturers: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Price; Southern States); • one (1) 145kV, 3000A, 63 kA circuit breaker (approved manufacturer: ABB); • one (1) 138 kV, 100 KA, ground switch; • three (3) 108 kV duty cycle surge arresters; • 138 kV bus and structures; • structures: disconnect switches, cable riser, lightning arrestor; • primary line differential & breaker failure protection panel; • back up line differential & breaker failure protection panel; • protection relays; • fiber communication between ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Avenue Substation and the Calverton Solar Collector Substation; and • power, protection, control, and communication cables. Modifications to the existing switchyard of Connecting Transmission Owner’s ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Avenue Substation are required to accommodate the CTOAF equipment listed above. Equipment will be arranged off of the 138 kV bus centered in the east end of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Avenue Substation. Connecting Transmission Owner is responsible for the engineering, design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning for the CTOAFs at its ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Avenue Substation.
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities.  138 kV cable from the point between bus section 14 and bus tie feeder 100 to the 138 kV potheads which are owned by the Interconnection Customer in the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Jamaica 138 kV Substation;  One (1) 138kV 63-kA dedicated feeder breaker 15 and associated current transformers, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, disconnect switches, ground switches, surge arresters, associated buswork, and supports at the Jamaica 138 kV Substation;  Two (2) 138 kV disconnect switches associated with feeder breaker 15 at the Jamaica 138 kV Substation, Interconnection Customer
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. The Developer has elected the Option to Build to design and construct the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and shall do so in accordance with Connecting Transmission Owner’s POI Station Functional Specification (“Functional Specifications”) provided as Appendix F to the Part 1 Facilities Study for the Large Generating Facility to the extent not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement or the ISO OATT. The PCO and the Point of Interconnection (“POI”) are designated in Figure A-1 to this Appendix A. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities (“CTOAFs”) consist of the facilities between the PCO and POI. As depicted in Figure A-1, the CTOAFs include the following major electrical and physical equipment: • one (1) 69 kV, 2000 Amps continuous, gang operated disconnect switch; • three (3) combined metering current and voltage transformers (CT/VT); • one (1) revenue meter; and • all required foundations and structures to support the above equipment. The electronic revenue meter will be provided and installed in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Substation by the Connecting Transmission Owner. The Developer will provide and install the 69 kV line disconnect switch and station class surge arresters in accordance with the Functional Specifications, including but not limited to, grounding, primary wiring, and conduit runs from the secondary of the transformers to the meter. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall procure and provide the combination CT/VT metering transformers and meter socket, and the Developer shall install them in accordance with the Functional Specifications. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall run and terminate the secondary wiring.
