Common use of Conformity to Law Clause in Contracts

If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of the Agreement to any employee or groups of employees shall be found contrary to law by a court or administrative agency of competent jurisdiction, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by law. If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of the Agreement to any employee or groups of employees shall be found to be contrary to law by a court or administrative agency of competent jurisdictionjurisdiction or clear legislative mandate, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by law. All other provisions or applications of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be contrary to law, the parties Parties shall commence negotiations on said provision as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible.

Conformity to Law. This The Agreement shall be governed and construed according to the Constitution and Laws laws of the State of Washington. If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of the this Agreement to any group, employee or groups group of employees covered hereby shall be found contrary to law by a court or administrative agency of competent jurisdictionlaw, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by law. All , may be immediately renegotiated by the Parties, and all other provisions or applications application of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be contrary to law, the parties shall commence negotiations on said provision as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible.

Conformity to Law. This Agreement shall be governed and construed according to the Constitution and Laws the laws of the State of Washington. If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of the Agreement is found to any employee or groups of employees shall be found contrary to law by a court judicial or administrative agency ruling, the remaining provisions of competent jurisdiction, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by law. All other provisions or applications of the this Agreement shall continue in full force and effecteffect and be binding upon the parties. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be contrary to law, the parties shall commence negotiations on said provision as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible, provided however, that the obligation of the parties to commence negotiations shall not preclude the Board from taking action in order to meet specific statutory time requirements.

If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of the this Agreement to any employee or groups of employees covered hereby shall be found contrary to law by a court or administrative agency tribunal of competent jurisdiction, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by law. If any provision of this Agreement is so held to be contrary to law, the parties shall commence negotiations on said provision upon request of either party, except as soon thereafter as is reasonably possibleotherwise provided by Article VII, Section 1.

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be contrary to law, the parties shall commence negotiations on said provision as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible.
