Conformance to Law. This Agreement shall be construed and interpreted according to the laws of the State of California, the United States of America and the ordinances of the County of Santa Xxxx.
Conformance to Law. If any of the provisions of the Agreement are found by a court or other authority having jurisdiction to be in conflict with or contravene any Federal law or statute, State law or statute, executive order, or any rule and regulation promulgated pursuant to one of the above, such provisions shall be considered null and void and shall not be binding on the parties hereto; in such event, the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. In the event that any provision of this Agreement is thus found to be invalid, either party shall have the right to reopen negotiations on that provision only.
Conformance to Law. This Agreement shall be subject to and subordinated to any 33 applicable present and future Federal and State Laws, and the invalidity of any provision(s) of 34 this Agreement by reason of any such existing or future law shall not effect the validity of the 35 surviving provisions. 36
Conformance to Law. A. It is not the intention of the parties to this Agreement to violate the pro visions of the Xxxx-Xxxxxxx Act. Should any portion of this Agreement be found to be in violation of the Act or any subsequent rulings pertaining to the Act, such portions shall be brought into conformance therewith as soon after notification as possible.
Conformance to Law. This Agreement shall, without prior notice, be automatically modified to conform with any law or governmental regulation having application to or jurisdiction over the subject matter of the parties hereto, and the parties shall promptly amend the Agreement to comply with such modifications.
Conformance to Law. It is understood that performance hereunder shall be subject to all valid laws, orders, rules and regulations of duly constituted governmental authorities having jurisdiction or control of the matters related hereto, including without limitation the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC").
Conformance to Law. In the administration of all matters covered by this Agreement, officials of the Employer and the Union and employees of the bargaining unit are governed by all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Conformance to Law. This Agreement is subject to the non-disapproval of the Insurance Department of the State of New York, pursuant to Article 15 of the New York Insurance Law, and such terms and conditions as may be required by the New York Insurance Department to be altered or amended shall be deemed acceptable to the parties hereto, to the extent same shall not change the substance and intent of this Agreement.
Conformance to Law. The provisions of this Section are subject to such amendment or modification as may be required to comply with any future applicable State or Federal laws or regulations which may become binding upon the parties hereto. The Association and the District agree to follow all Federal, State and local laws, regulations and guidelines with respect to the administration of leave of absence where the provisions of this agreement are more favorable for the employee than those provided under law, the terms of this agreement shall prevail.
Conformance to Law. Xxxxxxx and FEP understand and agree that this Agreement shall be subject to any and all applicable conditions precedent under FEP's Tariff and the regulations and policies of the FERC, including without limitation any requirements for FEP to file for and receive FERC approval of the Negotiated Rates.
