Common use of Conflict of Interest Clause in Contracts

Conflict of Interest. The award is subject to provisions of applicable State Statutes and County Ordinances. All bidders must disclose with their bid the name of any officer, director, or agent who is also an employee of Orange County. Further, all bidders must disclose the name of any County employee who owns, directly or indirectly, an interest of ten percent (10%) or more in the Bidder’s firm or any of its branches. Should the Contractor permanently or temporarily hire any County employee who is, or has been, directly involved with the Contractor prior to or during performance of the resulting contract, the contract shall be subject to immediate termination by the County.
