Confirmatory Test. Specimens which were initially screened and found to be positive shall be confirmed using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) quantitative techniques. Detailed confirmation and quality assurance procedures are discussed in the Laboratory's Procedural Manual. Specimens shall be considered as positively confirmed if they fall above the cutoff levels listed below.
