Concrete Floors i) Many of these are crazed and cracked. Minor individual cracks can be patch-filled with matching materials. Floors with more extensive surface crazing can be re-screeded, although matching materials should still be used, as proprietary self-levelling screed are likely to have different constituents and may not bond properly with the existing surface, resulting in repeated crazing or crumbling of the surface under use. ii) More severe failures of concrete floors are likely to result from deficient footings and/or differential ground movement. Remedial works may involve complete replacement, providing a new floor on new foundations such as mini-piles, to be independent of the existing footings to the walls so that the latter are not disturbed. Such works will require bespoke structural design, are beyond the scope of this Agreement, and will require Listed Building Consent. iii) Listed Building Consent will also be required for over-flooring of any kind (e.g. suspended timber, or parquet).
Concrete Floors. The platform under the slab is to be compacted to a minimum of 95% mod AASHTO density.
Concrete Floors. Seller shall repair all cracks in interior concrete slabs that exceed 1/4” in width or 3/16” in vertical displacement, which occur within one (1) year after the Date of Warranty, by filling chipping out and surface patching, or other suitable method. Efflorescence on basement floors is considered a normal condition and does not require any action by Seller.

Concrete Floors. The slab-on-grade was designed under the Uniform Building Code (I 994 edition) with loading criteria for heavy storage of 250 pounds per square foot, uniformly applied. Lessee shall be responsible for any damage caused by any excessive overloading or violation of the design capacity or by Lessee's abusive use of the slab-on- grade.

  • FLOORING All Bed Rooms, Dinning-cum-Living, and would be finished with Ivory Vitrified tiles (24'' X 24'') flooring and 4'' skirting. Bath-room, Kitchen & Balcony would be finished with Ivory Ceramic tiles (12'' X 12'') flooring. The walls of the Toilets/Bathrooms would finish with white glazed tiles in 60'' height. Roof would be finished with roof tiles.

  • Building Renovations It is specifically understood and agreed that Landlord has made no representation or warranty to Tenant and has no obligation and has made no promises to alter, remodel, improve, renovate, repair or decorate the Premises, Building, or any part thereof and that no representations respecting the condition of the Premises or the Building have been made by Landlord to Tenant except as specifically set forth herein or in the Work Letter Agreement. However, Tenant hereby acknowledges that Landlord is currently renovating or may during the Lease Term renovate, improve, alter, or modify (collectively, the "Renovations") the Project, the Building and/or the Premises including without limitation the parking structure, common areas, systems and equipment, roof, and structural portions of the same, which Renovations may include, without limitation, (i) installing sprinklers in the Building common areas and tenant spaces, (ii) modifying the common areas and tenant spaces to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including regulations relating to the physically disabled, seismic conditions, and building safety and security, and (iii) installing new floor covering, lighting, and wall coverings in the Building common areas, and in connection with any Renovations, Landlord may, among other things, erect scaffolding or other necessary structures in the Building, limit or eliminate access to portions of the Project, including portions of the common areas, or perform work in the Building, which work may create noise, dust or leave debris in the Building. Tenant hereby agrees that such Renovations and Landlord's actions in connection with such Renovations shall in no way constitute a constructive eviction of Tenant nor entitle Tenant to any abatement of Rent. Landlord shall have no responsibility or for any reason be liable to Tenant for any direct or indirect injury to or interference with Tenant's business arising from the Renovations, nor shall Tenant be entitled to any compensation or damages from Landlord for loss of the use of the whole or any part of the Premises or of Tenant's personal property or improvements resulting from the Renovations or Landlord's actions in connection with such Renovations, or for any inconvenience or annoyance occasioned by such Renovations or Landlord's actions.

  • Building Access The authorized representatives of the Union shall have access to the District’s premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of adjusting grievances, investigating working conditions, or ascertaining the provisions of this Agreement are being adhered to; provided the representatives notify the supervisor of their presence and that they do not interfere with employees in the performance of their duties. The Union shall furnish the District with the names of its authorized representatives.

  • Interior The insurance covers personal property normally contained in the vehicle and belonging to the owner of the vehicle or a member of his or her household. The insurance covers loss of, and damage to, the property if the damage occurs in connection with: - a compensable fire, theft, or vehicle damage - a sudden and unforeseen external event - theft by the renter - damage in connection with a traffic accident. The insurance does not apply to: - theft-prone property - cash and valuables - property belonging to the renter. - Personal movables must be kept locked in the vehicle. If the requirements are not met, the compensation may be reduced, or the deductible increased. See section
