Concerns or Questions Sample Clauses

Concerns or Questions. If for some reason an Upward Bounder is contemplating not attending the summer component, please contact the office immediately. Sometimes getting the answers to questions or concerns can help to allay the fears and solve conflicts that may be clouding the student’s ability to make the best informed decision regarding a commitment to the Upward Bound summer component. It is very important to remember that if an Upward Bound student decides to opt-out and not participate in the 2021 summer component, that student will be expected to attend all future summer components during their membership. Students who would be attending for the first time or as a bridge student may not opt-out. Please take a few minutes to fill out the following summer intentions slip and return it to the Upward Bound office by April 16, 2021 so we can finalize the number of students to plan for on a weekly basis during the upcoming summer component. Students will attend two weeks of Upward Bound in-person and will participate virtually/online the other four weeks. Your planned-for absences listed on the calendar will help us determine which two weeks students will be in-person. “Group A” will be on campus June 6th through June 18, including the weekend of June 12-13. “Group B” will be on campus June 20 through July 2, including the weekend of June 26-27.
