Common use of Comply with Laws Clause in Contracts

Comply with Laws. Borrower shall perform and promptly comply, and cause all property of Borrower to be maintained, used and operated in accordance, in each case in all material respects, with all: (i) present and future laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, orders, and requirements (including, without limitation, zoning ordinances, building codes, and environmental laws, and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto, and any other similar applicable federal, state, or local laws, rules, regulations, or ordinances) of every duly constituted governmental or quasi-governmental authority or agency applicable to Borrower or any of Borrower’s properties; (ii) similarly applicable orders, rules, and regulations of any regulatory, licensing, accrediting, insurance underwriting or rating organization, or other body exercising similar functions, to the extent usually complied with by companies engaged in similar businesses and owning similar properties in the same general areas in which Borrower operates; and (iii) similarly applicable duties or obligations of any kind imposed under any certificate of occupancy or otherwise by law, covenant, conditions, agreement or easement, public or private.
