The 'Compliance with Ontario Building Code' clause requires that all construction, renovation, or related activities adhere strictly to the standards and regulations set out in the Ontario Building Code. This means that any work performed must meet the minimum requirements for safety, structural integrity, accessibility, and energy efficiency as mandated by provincial law. For example, contractors must ensure that materials, design, and workmanship conform to code specifications before inspections or occupancy. The core function of this clause is to ensure legal compliance, reduce liability, and promote the safety and quality of the built environment.
Compliance with Ontario Building Code. Occupancy of a residence shall not be permitted until:
(i) the applicable Occupancy requirements of the Ontario Building Code have been satisfied;
(ii) all Stage I, II and III services have been completed and Preliminary Acceptance issued for same;
(iii) a water and hydro meter have been installed for the residence meeting Town and Westario respective specifications; and
(iv) driveway cuts have been made in the curbs at the approved locations, and granular base has been installed in the driveway ramps.
Compliance with Ontario Building Code. Occupancy of a residence shall not be permitted until:
(i) the applicable requirements of the Ontario Building Code have been satisfied;
(ii) all Stage I, II and III services have been completed and Preliminary Acceptance issued for same;
(iii) The Sanitary sewage pumping station has been commissioned to the satisfaction of the Township and is fully operational.
(iv) a water and hydro meter have been installed for the residence meeting Township and Hydro One respective specifications; and
(v) driveway cuts have been made in the curbs at the approved locations, and granular base has been installed in the driveway ramps.
Compliance with Ontario Building Code. 6.1 The Facility Provider acknowledges that for any structures not relating to the telecommunications equipment (i.e. Electronics-house of a certain size) which are confirmed to be subject to the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and where required, compliance with the OBC and regulations thereunder is mandatory. When required under the OBC, a Building Permit shall be obtained by the Facility Provider for any buildings and structures which fall under the jurisdiction of and are required by the OBC. The Facility Provider is encouraged to contact the City’s Building Division to confirm which buildings and structures are exempt from the OBC.
Compliance with Ontario Building Code. 6.1 The Facility Provider acknowledges that where required, compliance with the Ontario Building Code and regulations thereunder is mandatory. When required under the Ontario Building Code, a Building Permit shall be obtained by the Facility Provider for any buildings and structures which fall under the jurisdiction of and are required by the Ontario Building Code.
