Complaint Stage. The employee shall first discuss any complaint with her immediate supervisor before filing a written grievance. Such complaint shall be discussed with her immediate supervisor within ten (10) calendar days after the circumstances giving rise to it have occurred, or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee. If after registering the complaint with the immediate supervisor such complaint is not settled within five (5) days, then the following steps of the grievance procedure may be invoked within the next ten (10) calendar days.
