Competing Business Sample Clauses

The Competing Business clause defines restrictions on parties engaging in activities that directly compete with the business interests of the other party, typically during and sometimes after the term of an agreement. This clause may prohibit a party from owning, operating, or being employed by a business that offers similar products or services within a specified geographic area or time frame. Its core function is to protect a company’s market position and confidential information by preventing conflicts of interest and reducing the risk of unfair competition.
